The NOR for the Winter challenge to be held at PSC on the 23rd and 24th August has been released. Have a look on the events page or follow the link below. PSC have been very busy preparing for the new season. Comittee boats and marks have been painted, Solar Bees have been installed on Rietvlei Dam to clear the algae, and the grounds are looking great.
There have been a number of changes in the 505 fleet as well. Plenty of new owners, some refurbished boats and a couple of boats for sale.
The new ranking system has been introduced, and the first regatta that counts toward your ranking points for the 2008-2009 season is the Winter challenge.
This is an ideal opportunity to get some good points on the board, early in the season, while most people are still a bit rusty. There are plenty of events on the calendar, spread out all over the country, to give all the active 505 class members an opportunity to gain valuable ranking points.
