The SA 505 Class Exco is in the process of implementing a member ranking system. All paid-up members will be ranked according to official SA 505 calendar events. The committee is currently acquiring ranking technology from other international class associations and will publish the ranking system with the 2008-2009 calendar by July 2008. In summary, the ranking system will take into account final placings relative to total entries as well as event ranking (local, provincials, nationals and international events) and will also serve as a selection series to be used in submissions for Protea colours and sponsorship allocation to international events.
