Please receive the ballot form for the proposal on allowing carbon booms and poles in the fleet. Find it here
I would appreciate it if you check with colleagues from other fleets to ensure that every boat owner has access to the ballot, even in other national fleets.
All boat owners should fill in and submit the ballot forms to Peter by email peter@trequity.co.za Although I am sending this through my mail system, I have no guarantee that the mail addresses for the secretaries are correct or current. Particularly in light of the emotive nature of this ballot, I would appreciate your assistance in gaining as much coverage as possible to ensure a reliable and valid result.
There has been much discussion on the merits and demerits of carbon over the years. It is not my place to discuss those here, but I hope that each and every boat owner in your fleet will be permitted to have their say, so that the result is truly representative of the wishes of the majority, and will thus contribute to the ongoing success of what has been proved over the years to be a truly remarkable and enjoyable boat.
