Remember about Charity Regatta at PSC 26-27th Jan 2008.
Thomas will be tuning this Saturday and if you need help he has offered. You can also join them sailing afterwards, just to get back on the water.
The FD's have their unofficial nationals on the same weekend as the Charity Regatta at PSC. I am challenging any 505 to beat the leading FD (Nigel Trevarthin), no handicap challenge, you must be over the line ahead of the winning FD. There is a prize for each crew and skipper who achieves this;-)
Albrecht has been doing some basic training at Aeolians recently and last weekend had 3 boats on the water training 2 new crews and 1 new skipper. Well done, we will see at least two of the new trainees in action at the Charity regatta. Thomas let us know he will be at PSC to rig their boat up and is willing to help you with tuning if needed. He also wants to go sailing, so maybe you could join him on the water.
The FD's have declared the Charity regatta to be their unofficial nationals. They expect at least 10 boats there and from what I have heard there are some highly qualified sailors borrowing boats to compete.
Since this is an unofficial nationals we will have our start together with the FD's, so I have decided to throw down a challenge to the 505's.
Beat the leading FD (Probably Nigel Trevarthin) over the line in at least two races and you win a special prize for crew and skipper. (A six pack each of your favourite beverage)
Lets see how many 505's we can get on the water for this years Charity regatta.
