Have a look at this concept modification to the 505 to make the boat simpler, cheaper, and possibly faster, while also being easier to sail. Take a look at it and keep an open mind before you comment.

not sure i agree with this. If they do go this route, it should be a bigger kite. it looks a bit like an rs400 with a trapeze in these pics.
